At $500/pop that can get expensive.I have done videos in the past showing that investing in a fund collecting interest only and leaving your principal in the fund pays significantly more over time - but with a note you could get a payoff (which if bought for discount is great).

That 85% ($85,000 in this example) reduces my death benefit dollar for dollar, but does not reduce the amount of principal (probably not the right word) on which interest and dividends paid to me are based.I think I gathered somewhere in the thread that the dividends/interest paid to me can be used to pay the premiums, meaning I could essentially avoid paying any further cash into the policy.
