Kendal L Rogers Easton Park vs Addison South
5 July 2020 | 7 replies
I do plan on living in the home for at least 5 years, but beyond that, I would use it as a supplemental rental property, and I’m more focused on comparing the pros/cons of things like investing in a more expensive hot neighborhood vs a more stereotypical subdivision, condo living vs single family home investments, sellability/added value of fancy amenities vs extra square footage and space, and value of location- Easton sits at McKinney Falls Pkwy and William Cannon, and Addison sits off of 183, just barely south of the airport.I’m curious to see if anybody on here knows the area well (or specifically these two neighborhoods), and I’m definitely interested to see what investors and professionals on Bigger Pockets think of the situation!

Omar Khan Passively investing or holding onto cash?

Further, the "buckets" for passive losses offsetting passive gains don't really matter a ton nor does a stepped-up basis at death as part of estate planning from perpetual tax-deferred wealth creation if 99 percent of one's ability to generate wealth relates to mixing their labor with capital in entrepreneurial pursuits.

This one of the perpetual questions in real estate - I have built decent cash flow in this property, so now it's worth quite a bit more.

David Y M. How to Convince Significant Other to BRRRR + Other Questions?
8 April 2020 | 11 replies
She is a person who would rather buy her dream house (imagine stereotypical millennial design aesthetics)  a little farther away from the city instead of a BRRRR in a C class neighborhood.
