Your best bet is to get on the phone, get multiple opinions, multiple quotes, and make decisions on the type of build before pulling the trigger.

Getting out to the local meetups, in my opinion, is one of the most important things we all can do as investors.

DesireeI have seen this same exact thing in Memphis TN in properties located near the University of Memphis so my personal opinion is to stay away unless you can still buy the property where the numbers make sense.

In my opinion they are usually of little/no value UNLESS they are "collectible" which to me in most cases means that they own real estate that can be lien-ed with a judgement.

This is crucial, in my opinion.
