My vote is invest in other markets where the money makes sense and then take that profit to visit whenever you like. 

It is very nice with above average amenities and priced just $500 over what it would rent for as a non-furnished 12 month lease rental (I have two of those nearby so am very familiar with comps).

@Alba Cheung It would be nice if you provided us with an update.

They worked out a flat seasonal rate, then agreed on small “per-visit” fees for heavier storms.

It could be a nice opportunity however I would be certain they will want you to make up the difference between $250,000 and whatever is left on the mortgage which btw in my opinion should be done with lender's knowledge and approval.

You are probably better off going with one that has a branch you can visit and get to know the management.

I recommend you go visit a few times to network with local investors or find an investor friendly agent so you can gain local market knowledge, find off market deals and for things such as showings, picture taking or getting accurate comps.
