I believe it matters less than you think - the grass is greener, where you water it.

What has been strange though is how that has translated into a frenzy from people all over the planet looking to buy property in the city. 

You have such a small list.. you hire a beginner attorney and your have your attorney write them a letter expressing your interest in the property.. very professional polite etc.. there is not a person on the planet that will not open a letter and read it from a law firm..  

What planet are you from? 

Just be careful thinking that the grass is greener on the other side... it probably isn't. 

No where on the planet would banks lend over 30 years at a fixed rate. 

There seems to be some conflicting feelings about out of state (OOS) investing; some people insist managing from a distance isn't worth the hassle and/or that the grass is NOT necessarily greener, while others have demonstrated success with OOS.

Rack up costsI would also not recommend asking your servicer who they use or recommend as I know of an attorney a servicer recommends and they are the biggest POS on the planet.

Every person walking this planet brings his or her own set of biases and preconceived notions with them wherever they go.

And you want to be like your hero MSOOTKAUG, and build an empire, then establish your self among the filthy and powerful while secretly building an army of robotic minions to take over this rotten planet?
