The most useful thing you can glean from a credit report is their debt income ratio because you would want to know if a persons income is over committed, but a credit scoring is useless in that context because it rewards people that maintain repayments on what might be unaffordable levels of debt.

That's not a unique idea.Having done residential and rehabber sales for years (and thankfully having gotten out of the business completely) my opinion, gleaned from experience, is that if you take a dozen agents who have been at it for at least 5 years full-time and have no other source of income, there's not a dime's worth of difference between them.

Additionally, if the home was built before June 15, 1976 you would definitely not be able to get a conventional loan on it.So you're pretty much relegated to purchasing a new home directly from the dealer and/or factory which would not be cheap and defeats your purpose from what I'm gleaning from your original question.
