My advice would be to focus on networking with experienced investors, contractors, and lenders in your area, as building a strong team is key to scaling efficiently. 5 -10 properties is a great goal!

It seems if you are far away from this property then it might be a good idea to consider hiring the services of an experienced property manager who really could provide ongoing communication during the whole stay.

We've found it has superior reporting features, integration features, and is overall more efficient to work within than other REI-specific software.The downside is QBO is not set up for REI so you'll need to do that or work with an expert to ensure it is set up for your business appropriately.
