Test the waters with the sponsor for 3-5 years as they hold the properties in the DST, then decide if you want to align with them as a part of your long estate plan.Last (and best) recommendation: Ask your broker what the funds from operations (FFO) ratio is.

Rake the leaves, mow the lawn, and water the plants.

If separate water line services for each unit weren't part of your original scope of service, then they are justified in asking for additional payment to redo the plans.

No to very little crime no worries with water or food borne illness's  etc etc.  

The STR, if purely an appreciation play,  is speculation to me. 

Other campsites are truly primitive with no amenities at all in terms of water/power/sewer.
