Hello,After the big storms in the DFW area recently I have a big leak in a roof.

If you don't want to manage any aspect of investing in real estate directly you will incur some sort of management fees.

There are many aspects to this type of business.  

The 2 car garage is cinder block, but the roof is caved in.

The roof was replaced by the previous owner but, I don't believe the flashing for the skylight was replaced/sealed properly.

I am looking forward to learning as much as I can about the different aspects of real estate investing. 

This will be my first time undertaking a project that requires substantial work (all new windows, kitchens, baths, re-configuring walls, electric, plumbing, roof, exterior), so lacking experience with such a project I would welcome any helpful feedback.
