@ThomasRoy Penland Nice progress so far on your rentals.When you say start a business, what do you mean?

And I'll say, it's a really progressive city trying to do interesting things.Once you decide where to go, then you can decide the route you take -- a rent-by-the-room house or Airbnb basement apartment or whatever that is.

We have fully budgeted those repairs, but we are waiting to see if they progress or have settled before spending the money.

We have been looking at a few units around there (some not so maintained), but are uneasy on how the area will progress in years to come and depreciation on the homes.

We also have construction in progress.

I've been working to fix any flaws (lot sizes, utility access, zoning, etc.) and am making slow but steady progress. 

I do plan on documenting my progress and have already took pictures/videos of my before.

The best way to make money is to buy in the path of progress.
