Your post is under the house-hacking section, do you plan to house-hack and live in this property that you purchase in Jacksonville.If you are planning to live here in Jacksonville, it is important to choose a good neighborhood that you would enjoy living in.I personally like the 5 points/riverside, San Marco and Southside/Baymeadows area.These areas have more resturants/activities than other parts of Jacksonville in my opinion.

Personally, I need to do more homework myself on the local STR part to see if numbers make sense.  

I spoke to my banker today and he indicated that they won't do a HELOC out of a home that is a rental - only from my personal residence. 

My day job is an AVP for a community bank so I follow closely on the bank side and the investor side.

For example, I would need a new loan from a bank for the remaining $550,000 after the 4 years or would refinance the house for the $550,000, correct? 

@Cody L.I agree with the sentiment personally but I have made some serious funds(to me anyway) with clients where this functionality was needed because of some stodgy entity involved (bank, govt office etc) whose policy would only allow them to receive or send information in person, by snail mail, or by fax.  

But… you could ask for a bank statement and/or a cellphone bill from say, 3 months after the other residency is supposed to have started.

Now that’s not a teaching question, I can’t give it up, it already got saturate because things moved online, (sherif sales) Thankfully some are coming back in person.

I also personally know a builder who can construct them for about 250k each.

Then, such persons can prove to the judge they have redemption rights, or not, as the case might be.
