It certainly isn't fair for her to have that hanging over her head if she has been in compliance with her lease the entire time.The lease carries with the property, in almost every state, so the new landlords should have to honor it, but she really should consult with an attorney in her area.

So I understand real estate and construction but I'm really looking to basically "hang out" with someone who does this full time.

My suggestion would be to talk to a local broker that you are considering hanging your license with and ask him/her what areas of the course material may carry a greater importance in your state. 

Still getting the hang of this site but as with all great things one learns by doing.

The inspector said if there was more ventilation in the roof, the issue "should" be solved, because it appears the moist air is just hanging out in the attic.

I am in the learn as much as I can stage right now which means I am reading books, listening to podcasts, hanging out in the biggerpockets forums, etc.
