This, as most things, probably varies by region; she told me that she doesn't bother making really low offers relative to the first list price anymore as her experience is that HUD will relist at a lower price before taking a bid with a DEEP discount.

Its purely a numbers game.Getting buyers is not an issue especially if you have buyers that have deep pockets you'll probably find you deal with a handful of buyers most of the time.I think the marketing approach is important.
