Matt,  NMLS is only required when dealing with consumer real estate transactions, so a commercial lender doesn't really need one.

Yes the Restaurant business did consume my life as we all know about 18 hour days but now in Year 15 with 3 locations, running smooth so far....relatively :)  I just know that Real Estate is the way to financial freedom.

For investor products a lot of National lenders have good opt I especially in the low no doc realm.

I just finished reading "the book on rental property investing" by Brandon Turner and he goes quite in-depth with it but going back and rereading a chapter every time I want to analyze a property seems very time-consuming.

This house was supposed to be a flip and we opted to keep it and HELOC it after completion.
