I (obviously) am a big fan of real estate investing.

Not a fan of mixed use buildings that have a vacant commercial space, because those can be a pain to get a stable operating business in there that you're not consistently having issues with.

We thought it was the perfect combination of attic fan kicking on, boiler running, and dryer running with the door to the furnace room closed, all at the same time which was causing a deficiency in combustion air, leading to unburnt gas.

I allowed the tenants to install ceiling fans and paint.

I've been a long time BP fan as a reader and I have continuously been impressed by the strength of this network. 95% of what I've learned in real estate has come from Bigger Pockets.

Or a house-hack, but I'm not a fan of house hacking.You can also consider owner-financing this property if it makes sense from the business point and not just for taxes. 

I personally love a ceiling fan in my room but have lived in rentals myself with both fan and no fan so I thought I'd reach out to see what others personally do and if people find them to be huge problems or not.Thanks for the feedback!
