The term Goal makes me think someday, and someday is code for "never" in my world.I have one commitment for 2019, when I reach it that means several other success indicators have been realized also(i.e. robust passive REI portfolio, self-sustaining business), therefore, I only list this one:By December 31st, 2019, I will be my children's homeschool educator relieving my wife of her duty as the primary educator, spending no less than 4 hours per day as my children's educator, prior to the noon hour daily.Note: We have four lovely children, 2 boys and 2 girls between the ages of 3&8 years old.

My 2 units cash flow between $300 -$400 each and I have a full time job that sustains me so I will just leave them and focus on new acquisitions on 30 year note.

The idea for me is to build a business large enough to sustain itself and allow me freedom of time to be around my wife and kids the maximum amount I can be.

We can get so busy being busy and building for the future that we forget it’s our health that can sustain our future !

Agree with @Frank Wong The little/ no money down business is a great podcast story but,Remember you need to purchase a property/operate a property/sustain it/hedge against faults/hedge against anything else. 4k isn't it.Learn and gain more capital.

Eventually, the property will be self-sustaining. 

We have been lucky enough to find people willing to teach a couple of novices how to make money as well as build a business of our own for sustainable income.

Unemployment if sustained long-enough can crush this economy and will open the floor for missed payments and pre-foreclosure and foreclosure opportunities.

This is still America; understanding why someone would propose that type of all could help to contrive an ACTUAL solution -- in fact instead of bashing the law, I proposed a solution that would be SELF-SUSTAINING, helping people who might need the help, when they need the help...but also funding (and re-funding) the program.I personally have no problem helping folks when they need help -- but also protecting myself and other investors from scammers.

I would also like to read more business books this year and start forming an idea of what a sustainable real estate business looks like for me, putting a plan in place, and start taking action within that plan.
