Otherwise it is lying and fraud!

Telling them you may need to bring in your “partner” when you don’t have a partner or that you may buy the home in another entity is fraud as neither are true.

I think this is fraud by the seller.

If you get caught it will NOT end well for you, mortgage fraud is a big deal.Also, you don't want to abuse the system, if too many people do that we risk more restrictions on this wonderful benefit.If you have a spouse, they can live in it, that would satisfy the occupancy requirement.

You need to talk to a lender and real estate attorney to understand the laws and restrictions regarding VA loans as you do not want to commit loan fraud as well as the estate issues you are concerned with.

That is considered mortgage fraud.

I think it would be a mistake to refinance, if you can get refinanced without lying (mortgage fraud).
