The advantage there is that SFH are far more plentiful, and there is not (quite) as much competition for them as the duplexes.  

Depending on the market you're in, there are still deals to be found on the market, but the best deals are usually found off-market as there is less competition.

With the competitive nature of the market right now, you could make 5, 10, 15+ offers before getting one accepted.

I want to start marketing HEAVY for real estate, but I don't want to miss anything that may be a wholesale deal either.

The buyer competition is beyond aggressive.

There has always been plenty of projects to choose from with very little competition.

If your rents are $1,900 for a similar size unit, you may now have some competition.
