Her mortgage right now (minus the condo fees cause she can't pay) is way cheaper than rent.She will not have any place to go, but she may be able to salvage her credit if she sells to me.Landlords will become even more strict when screening after the rent moratorium ends.I just refinanced, my mortgage is really low.I was also thinking buying her unit, living there, and she can rent my unit, as an option if she brings up being priced out of rent market.

I disagree with the previous answers.If you try to increase the rent to market rate, there's a good chance they won't be able to afford it or that they will resent you and cause other problems.

They will need to be interested in basically being a landlord till the tenant buyer gets a bank loan.ANOTHER area new folks get wrong and harms the tenant buyer is the option fee is not handled or contracted correctly for the eventual financing bank to include the option fee paid to be included in the down payment. 

As soon as we learned just how much damage her broken relationships caused we got her family out ASAP.

Also, the property is in VT and this may cause an issue with plowing.

The thought alone that the court system of Massachusetts did not check this before the initial foreclosure is irresponsible and only slowing the court system down by causing more work. 

I believe tenants were accused of smoking in apartment causing a nuisance for neighbors so the landlord went ahead and covered all vents.Thank you
