Also go to youtube and search for moving to <city, state> or living in <city, state>If you check the census bureau or listen to the financial news to see where jobs and population growth is that will give you a clue.

Getting a license is one thing, finding a good broker who will take a green agent is another, now add on top of that someone who has no clue as to the area just makes things tougher.Don't mean know the market, just know areas, know your way around, know the town a bit and the economy there.
