Since I was in Texas and planned on staying there I found out that I was qualified to take a test and get a broker license in real estate so I took the test and got the license even though I never did that full time.Regardless of what I had I felt more comfortable in the construction business.

@Jenna Gainey your post is very good.. but I do want to caution folks in a full blown foreclosure ( depending on state) 30% equity generally is not enough to ensure a 100% return of your capital.also HML ( that are operating companies) no longer loan on collateral only..
