Don't give yourself a short rope so that you choke yourself.Instead construct as much rope as possible so if you get tugged you will still have room and space to breath.

Also, the first time I tiled probably took 10x as long as if I were to do it now (I'm probably about 5 or 6 jobs deep), so the more you practice, the better you'll be.I've used a mortar mixing agent to get a stronger bond and reduce flexibilty, but I've not seen/used a grout agent.

That would be a nice start, but I'm not holding my breath as it will be politicians ultimately making the decision, and they are, in part, what caused the mess in the first place.
