IMO this makes Texas the preferred choice for series LLC, although the (over rated) non publishing of organizational information in Wyoming and Nevada will have others disagree.

A couple million in general liability, which I bet you're carrying anyway on top of the LLC is all that is required.The TIC solution is elegant and once the exchange is completed you can always merge the entities into one since the ownership is the same.

Well said @Russell Brazil - Our preferred attorney will be meeting with my agents here in Upstate NY to review new protocol in light of the recent lawsuits.  

There are a couple of things to consider:1.

They would prefer that the house is either sold, or be bought out.I could be to apply for 203 K loan if I am willing to stay in the property for a year as my primary residence.

I prob won't cashflow for a couple of years, but I'm willing to take that risk.  

My wife and I had a place in Margaretville a couple years ago I flipped so know Kingston.
