Type of land: What is the difference between developed/zoned/undeveloped land?

Pre-paid rent like that is a red flag and a no-go for us.

After our offer was accepted, I ordered an inspection and everything looked good except for a bright red flag regarding cracks observed in the foundation.

It is a 3 bed 3.5 bath townhome in an area zoned for vacation rentals - the entire community is being built currently. 

Myrtle Beach has some zoning restrictions to work around as well, whereas North Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach (to the south) are pretty open. 

@Evan Robins it all depends on the zoning and/or how hard it would be to get a variance to do what you want to do.

I've recently discovered that my home falls into the new zoning for USDA Loans and my income meets the eligibility (I make roughly $77,000/yr and will be getting a sizable raise to $105,000 around August due to a restructuring at work).  

Two zone heat and air, great commuter location, near Metuchen Train Station and whole food shopping center, lot of restaurants surrounding.

Some will act like they will treat you special, that was a red flag for me, look for processes and systems.

If they cannot explain the fees, or if it takes more than 24 hours for them to turn around a loan estimate (after you've given them the necessary documentation) those are both easy red flags imo as to their responsiveness and competence.
