They should be able to point you in the direction of someone local and have an idea of what the cost is.I am buying from a turnkey  company so there is no buying agent.  

I read that companies offering a checkbook IRA LLC set up package cost more than that set up by an(my) attorney or CPA. 

I then contacted them and asked for a refund, which they claimed to not be able to do because of their policy, which covers them and allows them to do whatever they want after the initial 30 days is over. 

Would the company in discussion here know how to do this?
