We have a friend in Louisiana that is a contractor and another friend that has 2 rental units there already so this is the reason we are looking in Louisiana, plus costs in NY where me and my business partner live are way more expensive of course.

The trustee will be a LLC we create in WY to hold the land trust for the anonymity and added asset protection.The question I have run into now is that some things I am reading say that I will have to register the LLC in the state I live in, (will be Illinois) so I will be basically paying for two LLCs. 1.

Like I said in another response to this thread a really good TC will have a hand full of top producer be worth their weight in gold and make a VERY nice living for an in home job that comes to you with little to no over head..

While I do live in suburbs and have kids today, I was more drawn to walkable, older suburbs and urban areas before kids (still am to a certain level).
