This subdivision is just off of a nice lake Easter Lake and the city is doing many upgrades to the area. 

If other homes in the area of similar size and lake view sell for under $200k, then so should this one. 

I owned a condo on Lake Merritt (Essex) 2004-2011.

Shorewood is small, ranges from middle class to high end huge mansions close to Lake Michigan and I'll bet 90+% of the housing stock is pre-1970, a lot of it going back to the 1920's or earlier.

It was pretty cool to hear he grew up in lake Charles Louisiana of all places only 45 min from here.

They also had a number of break-ins where a substantial amount of cash allegedly came up missing, but they were pretty laid back about telling me, merely asking me to keep coming and fixing a door that kept getting kicked in.

Boise, I have a ton of relatives there that I never see and it is sort of stable but if your looking try looking at the Salt Lake City area if your going the buy and hold route.
