That being said, if you want it gone completely I would probably skim coat the entire area (lot of labor/time if you haven't done it before).I also added some cedar planks over the entry area so I was able to leave this area alone.

The PM I hired attended all the classes and met all the requirements.The House underwent an inspection by someone from the CHA, and they shot back that the house needs:Furnace certificationRoof certificationWater Heater certificationBrand new carpetingRe-seal/coat drivewayReplace all carpetInstall extension pvc pipe for sump pump behind houseTotal: $5800 (est)I'm in the thinking that I'm either being jipped (not by the PM, but by CHA) or that I should ditch the section 8 tenant/CHA all together and find another tenant.

#1 - You are paying WAAAYYYY too much for the property - there is nothing in that zone worth more than 20k a door... and for 20k it better be full of long term tenants and coated in gold.#2 - Why are people so hung up on Sec 8?
