You could probably notify the courts and advise them that the property you've filed eviction on appears to have been abandoned and submit photos to them showing the state of the unit (empty, but before you move anything out) and they may go ahead and dismiss the case or just speed it up.Another option if you haven't entered the property yet, you could call the police and inform them you can't reach the occupant and ask them to do a well being check. 

The Good Neighbor Next Door program for Teachers, police and fire is virtually non existent today as there may be a few in the entire country this year. 

Though, I did have some renters pack up and run away overnight, so be prepared to be friends with the local police to issue warrants.

I encourage all others who have been swindled or have had similar experiences to share them too and to submit complaints to the Better Business Bureau, Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, State Board of Accountancy, Federal Trade Commission, Police Department’s Financial Crime Unit, and the District Attorney.

I currently have a Navy police officer in one of my 4 STRs in Panama City (we have a Navy base and and Air Force base here). 

After getting a phone call a few years later from the police department about a 12 and 14 year kids that weren't supposed to be living there getting charged with felony terrorist threats, I gave them their notice to move.  

which gives them another 14 days and then call the Eviction police?

From my experience and the interactions I had with my NACA counselor, he said there is no “NACA police” so no one is really checking up on you.

When I spoke against the ordinance, and pointed out that they were trying to make landlords act as police, they looked at me like I was crazy!

If a tenant declares bankruptcy or just refuses to leave without the police knocking, it just takes longer.
