Let me show you a pretty reliable way to do this:Start with your 1000, go buy a pickup truck that does not run but has a good tranny, body ( I say pickup because a LOT of folks that work need trucks...market is decent) Comp your area and find a medium average number of 4 grand for this truck WHEN IT RUNS. get it fixed for say 1-2k now you have up to 3k into it. but it sells for 4000, you now have 2000 to do things with right?

@Cristina Ruffini the market is telling you about risk reward.. so keep that in mind.4 to 5% return on virtually no risk is not a bad thing.10% return with medium risk is not for the passive in many casesand 15% is something that is very risky and needs full time attention.that's generally how it goes.

It goes through about 350 feet long, and the width to allow one way traffic (and a concrete truck has been through), so maybe 10-12 feet wide.I have read about California and how they had a similar case come up.
