@Peter TrifanI agree with @Gino Barbaro, the more insurance contacts you have, the better.Last time I got insurance quotes, I reached out to the main brokers in the area and the local lenders to see who they recommended.

You can't just buy and hold and pray anymore; you need to actively add value.

If you don't have those two on your team, I'd start meeting with some locals that come highly reccomended and build those relationships.

You just have to find the one used in the local market. 

I also track the public notices in the local press.

I would like to find a local person to assist with making it an Airbnb rental since I am so far away and cannot do so.

That said, I'm not a local and I'm not sure what commute time most locals are used to. 

Simple post the deal in the local forums and indicate you are looking for a HM lender, 

As I will not be living in the area it is imperative that I have a solid and active team on the ground, and I'm looking to connect with folks who have a deep understanding of the area and would like to do work together. 

Even if another lender won't require it...I would highly recommend to have someone that is local to help with this.
