I am currently on the hunt for land that will fit the development and interested in perhaps finding a partner to split the land if anyone is interested. 

The City of Boston recently enacted regulations that severely restrict property owners from renting out their homes by the night, unless the owner lives in the unit - a move aimed squarely at Airbnb.I don't have a dog in this hunt, but it seems to me that restricting an owner's use of his own private property without compensation is just reprehensible, so long as it doesn't cause a hardship to othersPlacing a pig farm in a residential neighborhood seems like an unreasonable burden to others.

Others may balk at this simple reasoning and suggest you buy a mediocre investment in this frothy market, frustratingly hunting and turning 200 rocks to get it. 

This is my first go around with STR & MTR's and I'd rather team up with someone already keen to deal hunting this niche. 

It is VERY hard to find off market properties here.Just like anything, there are people looking to snake oil, and there are people that are just good at hunting down the right thing and knowing where to look.

No one is selling now which makes the deals that are on the market quite a bit leaner :'( I'm still on the hunt for the larger property but at least now I have my gun loaded to take down the next buffalo when he pops up :-D
