Upstate NY is a very large geographic area, and I don't know any lawyer whose business model would cater to the intricacies of all of the municipalities and counties of the state, not to mention the hours of driving to travel to those proceedings.

your descriptions of the transaction are a little confusing.did you say U bought from a bank.. and that it is now coming to your attention there is a 58k lien. so did U not get title insurance when you bought ??
