Good morning, I have been renting out a 4 unit in South East Wisconsin since last August, I initially inherited tenants but now I have a vacancy. 

However, before its revival for Tiny Houses, it had basically become an RV graveyard of RVs that couldn't make it a few miles down the road and were sort of a long term rental a few notches below a true mobile home.   

guilty as charged.i just bought an auction home on one of the website ones sight unseen.The home was supposed to be occupied so I was not going to make the 800 mile trip anyway . my decision was based on the comps, interview's with 3 area agents and great information from the listing agent.it turns out the owners moved out,the listing agent sold the property to the former owners,a new roof and other repairs left the property in good condition.The agent even sent more pictures .The $50k in equity leaves me with plenty of cushion for some minor p&c repairs

Try to get within 1/2 mile of the educational institution's student population you're targeting.

Many people I know in SouthEast Houston cannot go back to there homes.

PS: Always buy your car Brand-Used (Brand new car with very very low miles) to depreciate some of the cost or even lease then buy it outright when the lease term matures...

I can generally find only 1 to 3 in a 50 mile radius.2) Of those 1 to 3 fourplexes, I have never seen one that I would actually want to live in.

Set mile markers of when the funds will be released.

It would be in your interest to shop around within 60 miles or so of where you intend to invest and let them know your plans.

Not sure that I want to get in this deep from 1000 miles away.
