So if you pay down a little on each loan there is no benefit till one or all of the loans are paid off because even the last payment will still be your min monthly payment from a month to month cash flow perspective.From a psychological point of view paying one off faster is also better because you can see results quicker and it will take less mental will power to push forward paying the 2nd, 3rd, and so on because your mind will see results from the first one relatively quick if you focus.Hope that helps.

Hi Geraldo:I'm assuming you are talking about selecting a contractor and we have a 'roll up your sleeves' kind of mentality for the most part but I think some of the things we've done with kitchens have driven a lot of value on our rehabs and rentals.We operate out of Des Moines IA and of course there will be differences regionally in style, contractor pricing, material availability, etc - so take this for what it is worth.We use granite nearly exclusively for our counter-top material.

It may make sense to call a few local credit unions and ask what they expect and discuss your goal(s) with doing that so when you are ready financially and mentally to pull the trigger you aren't blind sided.
