Would you look for a "cost effective" doctor or lawyer if you determined you really needed their expertise?

I have a doctor tenant that is renting out a commercial building.

He’s applied for VA disability and has numerous claims with medical history backing so he’s banking on getting 70+% (he of course thinks 100% but idk enough to know how realistic that is).Alas, once he separates he wants to buy a multifamily home in January-March in the DFW area.

We have good incomes and good credit (my wife is a doctor, which I hear banks like...).

Now, 6 months away from earning my doctorate, I feel more trapped than ever. 

Water leaked for roughly 30 minutes and it also made its way to the apartment downstairs.Brought in Rug Doctors the next morning (less than 12 hours) and sucked out as much water as I could from my carpets as well as the downstairs lobby.

Tech workers, construction workers, consultants and medical professionals often travel for more than a month.  

I am attending Rockhurst University in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Recently I the doctors discovered that I have an auto Immune disease Ankylosing Spondylitis.
