I've always joked that I would quickly be in the used furniture biz if STR collapsed.I own 66 beds if you could trundles/daybeds/futons etc.I usually use a designed and the actual frames typically come from West Elm, Pottery Barn, Wayfair and sometimes Amazon.

An interesting fact about High Point is that it was famous for being the "Furniture Capital of the World".

As a whole, high point continues to be a "blue collar" city,  from the big contributors of old dominion freight, thomasville buses, and the furniture market. 

I took possession of the property immediately by cleaning it out removing all furniture and trash that was there.

I suppose Hello Mindy, We did think about installing a railing and still can of course but that would make the stairwell even more restricted when it comes to moving furniture upstairs.  

One couple loved house but master bedroom wouldn't fit their furniture.

One of the benefits is it'll create the floor plan with dimensions, so I don't have to measure the rooms, and the potential tenants can just go there and see if their beds/furniture, etc. will fit.

Now after living through the process and having to shift almost all of my stuff into storage units anyway, at this point, I basically have only the furniture left here that is in my bedroom.

I'm not a fan of consumer debt of any kind, but definitely don't apply for or open new credit lines of any kind while you are pending.Lenders will run a last sec re-score just before funding and even one little new card or furniture store line could sink your deal.Play with cc snakes long enough, you will get bit.
