Think I'm making a mistake?

you will do great as long as you take the first step, and pull the pin, the biggest mistake most wana be's make is never taking action. dont fear it, take action. be sure of your numbers, fall in love with the DEAL, and NEVER fall in love with the Property. you have plenty of potential in that area, find your farming area, and cultivate!!!

It was my first big project and I made a ton of mistakes but I bought it right.  

I am absolutely terrified to buy my first property, but am eager to learn and understand mistakes will be made which goes hand-in-hand with growing.The only real estate properties I've bought are in Monopoly.I've always been very family-oriented, which is ironic that I felt drawn to the military... which is probably the least family-orientated occupation offered in America. 

These folks called me over the weekend and wanted me to come look at their house. I've got a whole DropBox folder filled with all of the fun that awaited me inside this home... Mainly people with ZERO experience tryin...

I'm pretty serious about investing and especially fix and flips, so hopefully I can pick everybody's brain to make as few mistakes as possible.

I am also big on books though, and while I agree that nothing beats real world knowledge, I can at least try to learn from the mistakes of others in at least some small way.

Personally, I find that people who have been in the game a long time are more than willing to share their war stories, which helps to avoid making the same mistakes.
