Hello,Looking at investing in my first syndication as an LP. 

I don't think we will ever have enough "doors" to replace an income in this time frame, but we would like to get to 5 doors in the next 5 years which we would sell in 10-15 years to help supplement our retirement income.

There will always be exceptions but this will be true more times than not. 

My guess is he's having a hard time finding a place and using the cash in the bank and the upfront rent to get anything he can right now. 

I'm leaning towards a darker wood, I believe you're correct on grey flooring not withstanding time and is a recent fad that will go away.
