I gave an advertisement to the local PHA and they at least claim that they distributed it to their list of voucher holders, but either they did not do so, or nobody that has seen it is interested because I have no contacts yet.

So there’s risk but way less than a spec home.To top it off the current mortgage holder of the land, wont release one lot at a time (claiming the lot not built will lose value) which is a flat out lie, they were the first we went to fund it at a very high rate , one day they backed out, they want to me fail, I know the guy well, I used to be friends with his son.It looks like I am going to go out the box and try buyer financing as a last resort.

My mortgage holder (Guaranteed Rate) told me that with an FHA primary residence (which, we put 3.5% down on), we would need to have 20% equity in that original unit in order to use the FHA primary residence (3.5% down) again on another home because FHA doesn't allow the dwelling to be used for anything other than that, your primary dwelling.
