PA landlord tenant law requires that tenant security deposits are kept separate; some landlords try to get around that by putting a clause in the lease saying the tenant allows the landlord to keep the money in the landlord's own account, but the landlord tenant law also prohibits lease clauses that have the tenant agreeing to waive this security deposit requirement.

I only read the article above, so I might not be properly informed but this is what the article said: "1-- Create a new state misdemeanor crime of willful failure to complete or carry an alien registration document. 2-- Allow officers to arrest immigrants unable to show documents proving they're legally in the country. 3-- Ban so-called soft immigration policies at local police agencies and allow people to sue if they feel a government agency has adopted a policy that hinders the enforcement of illegal immigration laws. 4-- Prohibit people from blocking traffic when they seek or offer day-labor services on street corners."

I personally don'tthink they're going to do much of anything to the guy otherthan possibly prohibit him from bidding on any future homes.But given there are ways around that (his wife can bid or something),he's not getting nearly enough in my book.I really think HUD should just open up the biddingto all bidders right from the get go.
