Personally I wouldn't bother doing it I'd want the whole place to myself and I don't like the kind of guests that would rent one room while someone else is in the other rooms.

Hello BP forums, I am very new to this game and i'm in the works of making my first deal ( Im looking for a 3-4 unit multifamily house.) my question is about the payment on your mortgage. should you rely on the tenant's rent in order to pay the mortgage or should you be able to fund the whole thing your self form other sources.

We will then transfer title to the LLC upon closing (we have received lenders permission to do this).My question is, when we come to purchase another property will the lender view me as responsible for the whole mortgage debt and only 33.3% of the income?

I would not use it as a reason to check the whole house, but you can probably see everything you need to see with a brief scan of the place while getting the dogs leash or making sure it has water.
