I've been researching and watching the BP podcasts in the past few months and I find them really helpful and informative.I will also connect with Martin and see his prospective. 

Fix up the houses, make the properties pretty again for families to proud of and watch their children play in the neighborhood.

Also, it is really satisfying to put in sweat equity, learning along the way, and watching your investment grow.

And I love watching his videos and the other videos from the BiggerPockets community.  

Over the years, I have watched a number of people whose early mistakes caught up to them.

@Mike Jacovelli, I think the guy that told you a hard money was going to come after your family watches way to many mafia movies.

I watch the small multifamily market in baltimore closely and there are a couple beautifully rehabbed (but in my opinion overpriced) duplexes that have been on the market for an extended period of time. 

I’m looking for some direction and have watched a ton of BiggerPockets YouTube videos and even read David Greene’s BRRRR book, so I figured what better place to get some direction and finally build some relationships than here!
