Sharing stories/experiences/tips from my work is absolutely what reinforces me as an asset to the team of any investor I work with.  

Research this carefully, set your goals beforehand.For instance, I needed to cover a debt service from my relinquished property, I wanted a DST with an experienced sponsor with a good reputation, and I wanted a 6% return.The return I was demanding eliminated much of what was out there.It was VERY easy to eliminate the many DST brokers out there.  

Though I'm new to this and still learning the ropes, I'm keen on making informed decisions and possibly partnering with an experienced investor who can guide me through the process.The property that caught my attention is currently listed at $439k on Zillow.

Once you have this team in place, you should be able to invest in any market confidently.As for picking a specific market - I would go after one with an increasing job and population growth.

But orign8 works well if you have a team. for example you subscribe to the $500 tier. then if your team has 5 members it would just cost you a $100/member/month.

When I visited the property, my (investor-experienced) agent gave me some rent estimates for the property's units, but they seemed really high to me and seem out of line from what I've seen the market absorb.

The property has been up and running with all my team and systems in place for 7 days.
