I am no expert (hence posting here) but the bit that I have read seems to indicate that if the business is located in CA and operating in CA (as is the case since the property is in CA), the business is likely to fall under CA laws in the event of an issue. 

If the rent can't cover even the interest then I'm not sure cash out refi does anything for you.Yep, I am probably thinking of this just as an excuse to hold on and weather out the market lows.

Good afternoon everyone, I currently have new construction coming up where I am sourcing construction loan quotes from multiple lenders.

We ran into a bunch of permitting issues from the previous owner so if I can give some advice look for properties that already have a clear CO from the city if you can find it.

I'm an active investor so I spend the time/energy in sourcing and managing my own rentals, I am also in a very favorable location to own rentals here in Memphis so I do it myself. 

Am I the last person standing from when Biggerpockets had its first conference 10 - 12 years ago?
