You don't list where your STR is, but in general i'd start with and in no particular order the ENEMY method, local facebook groups, and or turnoverbnb. 

Even facebook might have some good local groups for you.

Toilets and Tenants is a great facebook group that will help answer local regulations and the person who runs has recurring monthly meetings with guest speakers on local regulatory changes.  

I put together a facebook group as I saw that there wasn't actually an REI gathering place for those of us from Southern Minnesota, so I wanted to do my part.

I just started a Facebook group page called Tucson Real Estate Investor Meetups to encourage more people to get the information to meetups.

Search on meetup(dot)com, Facebook, and BP for investor meetings in your area.

I’ve joined a few local real estate Facebook groups, but what are some other good ways of gaining local market knowledge in this new Covid era ?!

Go the the facebook groups, and wave that contract around.. throw a few knives and guns in the mix, they will kill eachother over the deal, and the remaining ones are the most serious most hungry cash buyers.Also we are working on something Uhmayzing!
