Hello, My future father in law bought a property in 93 which is an 8-plex in LA for around 300,000He owns his own home currently ( beautiful home)and owns a rental also ( I don't know when he purchased this)He also has a real estate license ( he isn't an active realtor, he is retired and just invest in stocks now)He believe california for the place to purchase property because you can see and feel it.I am trying to convince him that just because its out of state, doesn't mean it can't be successful.He says that unemployment is higher than anywhere else in the USACalifornia and Nevada are both around 6.7-7.1% He says thats because obviously the population is much higher in california so its not comparison He believe with the indian reservations in california, it will turn vegas the unpopular place to gamble and all of the las vegas community is fueled by gambling and entertainment. 

Our PM would still put him through the credit, income, and background checks and speak to his parole officer, but wanted to know if we would even entertain someone with that type of record.

Anyway, it's sounds like it's going to be very entertaining! 

Do real estate agents representing sellers for on-market deals entertain seller financing options from buyers?

There for the properties values stay flat.I think the effect is going to be on consumer goods.... people have to live somewhere but they don't have to drive 60k cars maybe they buy a 20k car... they don't need a boat.. a jet ski... maybe that 3k weekend skiing in Tahoe gets cut down to once a year.. those type of things ... that's the only place I can see the wiggle room.. peoples discretionary purchases travel and entertainment could be affected..

Sorry your first one has some drama with it, but at least now you'll have some entertaining stories to add to any REI get-togethers you hit up later!

We entertained adding the shed because it would be paid for in 2 weeks of rental income, and we were afraid of having a 1 month vacancy, which would be our first since 2009.  

The tenants thankfully viewed this more as entertainment than anything particularly bad.At some point she called our realtor who went out to find out what was going on at one of the properties.

The staff were helpful and courteous and the entertainment was great!

Those are some amazing stories.Most of my entertaining stories are about tenants after they moved in.
