I own a condo designed like this and all doors that exit into the hallway are fire rated. 

It is my understanding that porcelain tile is "better' ie harder and more durable and available in more designs but more expensive. 

Selling to buy new properties has a lot of costs involved with realtors, titles and capital gains taxes (variable depending where you live) so that should all factor into your opportunity cost ROI calculations.

For example, negative stigma and limited sex appeal, while listed as cons, could be viewed as pros because both factors limit competition from other investors.  

All of these determine the premium, in addition to other factors like the Construction, Occupancy, Protection and other Exposures.  

Also, in Ohio, any residential lease of 2 years or longer must be recorded with the county - an extra PITA factor that isn't necessary with a shorter lease term.3.

You can add granules to it to make it non-slip but that’s designed for shop floors & auto repair shops.
