You are correct when going through your due diligence it should incorporate the property itself as well on the structures. 

We bring  a computer printer/copier, a card table, chairs and applications to the showing. 

Directly across from the women's apartment the guys moved several of the gas and charcoal grills, they set up a dozen lawn chairs, a couple of tables, and they keep 2 or 3 coolers stocked with beer. 

While on the original articles of incorporation has my address on it, it is an old address and I no longer live there.
