So the price of a true yes/no answer is equal to an appraisal fee and a few weeks waiting; once the appraisal came back it had to go to the Dept of Veterans Affairs regional office in (I want to say) Arizona where it sat for a week before they came back with a yes.

Once I decided to move in I refinanced under a 10/1 ARM, in house, non-compliant loan (because other banks required a 6 month seasoning period since the LLC was solely owned by me).
